A leading impact investor was looking to expand their legal function by hiring a legal counsel

The fund was looking for an ambitious up-and-coming legal professional with exposure to transaction/M&A law. Utilising our broad search network of junior-mid level professionals in this space, we successfully screened a number of candidates from our private practice/in-house candidate pool. From these options, we sourced a fantastic candidate with the right experience and a keen interest in impact investing.

A first time private equity fund, who had just raised their first fund and were about to launch their second fundraise, were looking to build out their finance team by hiring a CFO

They were looking for a young and ambitious finance professional with private equity experience, looking to make the step up, to come in and take full ownership and build out the finance function of the business. Due to our long term presence in this market, we used our existing and extensive network of finance professionals in private equity and put together a strong initial shortlist, of which the successful candidate was hired from.
A global investment manager with a diverse portfolio was looking to hire a company secretary/head of governance to oversee legal proceedings following a period of growth

With investments across several jurisdictions, the fund needed a corporate governance professional to sign off on board procedures in line with appropriate regulators. Through a meticulous and specialised search process, and identification of an experienced candidate pool, we were able to find our client a suitable candidate with whom they were thrilled.

A long standing client of PER was having difficulty with a Tax Associate search in their New York office

Due to the success we’d had with the client in their European offices, they asked if PER could help with this search also. We utilised our central research function and marketing platforms and we were able to find a number of strong candidates the local agencies had missed, from which we placed a really strong candidate.
A global multi-asset investment fund was searching for an HR manager to join their London office in a generalist capacity

The ideal candidate needed prior experience in designing and optimising people processes. A specialised search was undertaken to focus on this skillset, and after phone screening the initial shortlist was produced. From this the client pursued the most suitable candidate, and made them an offer they couldn’t refuse.

We worked with a leading private capital and growth investor who had established a new role in the business, and were looking for a portfolio management professional

They needed to take ownership of the portfolio management function and drive improvements in data management and portfolio reporting in order to better serve their investors. The candidate required previous private equity experience and data management capabilities. We first leveraged our existing network in this space and supported the search further with our central research function.
